Sam Higgs finishes seventh in regional Triathlon series

Congratulations to Sam Higgs who was placed 7th in the Triathlon England South-East Childrens T2 series held over the last four months.  Recent successes’ at events at Dorney Lake (Eton College) and Christ’s Hospital Horsham, saw Sam well placed in his first ever series.  Good luck for the rest...

Josh Higgs – The Hero of Snodland!

Josh travelled to Snodland last weekend to compete in the Kent Individual Rapidplay Chess Championship, an adult tournament.  He scored 2/6 and was placed 44/55.  He won ÂŁ15 for being the U120 joint winner and was also the U10 winner.  Well done Josh.

The Copthorne Chess Team travelled to St. Lawrence School, Hurstpierpoint last week to compete in the U11 Sussex Inter-Schools Competition.  2010 saw the largest entry of U11 teams (Year 6 and below) who compete in teams of 4 players for the Primary Cup.
