As advertised on the calendar the Nursery parents evening is at 6:30 pm on Thursday 9th September and Reception and Year 2 are at 7:00 pm on the same evening. Clubs
Clubs start on Monday. If you have not yet returned your activity forms, please do so as soon as possible because clubs do often get over-subscribed!

Retelling Viking Myths
Year 4W learnt about the Viking Myth – Thor’s Hammer and enjoyed making puppets to act out the tale. They took these down to Year 2 and retold them the story. The fence provided a great stage for the fours to hide behind!

Groombridge Place
Year 2 Year 2 went to Groombridge Place on Tuesday and had a wonderful sunny day, Anton wrote; Yesterday we went to Groombridge Place. We saw lots of birds of prey. My favourite bird of prey was the bald eagle because it had a massive wing span, it was a very good flyer, and it was really furry.
Sports Day was a huge success
Yelena wrote; On Thursday it was Sports Day. We started off at the carousel. We did eight activities and we had four breaks. We had two games and then we had a break until it was time to stop. We had two minutes on each activity. I was the fastest skipper. My pair did LOTS of catching and throwing....
