82 children in the Pre-Prep department perfomed their French version of The Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf to a packed theatre on Friday, as part of their French Day celebrations. The cast included lapins, oiseaux, herissons et poussins as well as other woodland and farmyard creatures, all of whom were able to get away from the Mechant Loup! 6 children from Year 2 represented the school at the Sussex U7 Closed Chess Championships held at Fonthill Lodge School last weekend. The team, Emma Dodson, Freya Finnegan, Daniel Gooda, Benjamin Jennings, Ben Kinnear & Ben Voller played in 5 rounds each, in a competition that had a total of 13 schools from the county present. This week the nursery enjoyed another annual visit from the Zoolab. Chris (from the Zoolab) brought along lots of interesting animals, including a stick insect called Twiggy, a tarantula called Rosie, a cornsnake called Jake, a snail called Brian, a millipede called Milly and a Tiger-Salamander called Randal.
