As advertised on the calendar the Nursery parents evening is at 6:30 pm on Thursday 9th September and Reception and Year 2 are at 7:00 pm on the same evening. The Year 1 meeting has been moved to 3:30 pm on Wednesday 8th September. We hope that everyone will be able to come to the Cheese & Wine Party at 7:30 pm on Thursday 9th. In the Rendall Room. These meetings are to inform parents of what is expected from the children over the forthcoming year and to give you the opportunity to ask any questions.

Several parents in the school (and some from outside too!) are going to take part in this walk on the 12th September. We will do it in memory of our fellow Mum, Janice Workman, who very sadly died in May this year. Janice’s husband and children will be taking part with us. It is 13 miles. Yelena wrote; On Thursday it was Sports Day. We started off at the carousel. We did eight activities and we had four breaks. We had two games and then we had a break until it was time to stop. We had two minutes on each activity. I was the fastest skipper. My pair did LOTS of catching and throwing. I was AMAZING at the javelin throwing! The football was lots of fun every go I scored! Don’t forget the Pre-Prep Concert is on Thursday morning at 9am, we hope to see as many parents as possible to enjoy this new event! Tea/Coffee beforehand in the Rendall Room. Also on Thursday morning at 10.30am in the Theatre, the Nursery children will be performing their International concert. Tea/coffee afterwards in the Rendall Room.

Thank you for all your efforts in raising such a huge amount of money at this year’s fete. We are buying the following for the school: • Cricket/hockey bowling machine • Printing press and associated equipment for the Art Department • Minibus • Smart board, electronic drum kit ,electric guitar and piano stools for the Music Department • Sun shade for Pre-Prep outdoor classroom • Sun sail for large sandpit in Nursery and Pre-Prep • Money towards 3 new role play areas for Nursery Our...
