In the Crawley Junior Chess Tournament on 23 July 2011 the Copthorne Prep team came first
All Copthorne Prep pupils received special achievement prizes:-
Gold Medal – Gabriel Jones
Girls Year 8 Gold Medal – Madeleine Liu
Boys Year 7 – Zevron Rustom
Overall 3rd place – Daniel Gooda
All Copthorne Prep entrants were incredibly well behaved and were a real credit to the school.
