Programme of Study

The curriculum at Copthorne is based on a new syllabus which is written by the Head of Department, Andrew Hammond, who also serves as IAPS Subject Leader for English and ISEB Common Entrance Setter. The new syllabus is bespoke to Prep schools, and blends the skills and attainment targets of the NC, NLS and the New Primary Framework with the requirements of the ISEB syllabus for 11+ and 13+ Common Entrance.

Wednesday 2 May – Book Fair

The Book Fair is here again starting tomorrow, Wednesday 2nd , through to Tuesday 8th May. All pupils will have the opportunity to browse the books during their English lessons and other scheduled times. Pupils will be unable to buy their chosen books until the end of their school day when they are accompanied...
