Skills and Attitudes

We will approach the development of children’s awareness of religion in two ways:

• • Through developing an understanding of the beliefs, teachings and practices of different religious traditions.
• • Through exploring both the ideas and beliefs of different religions and of the pupils themselves.

In achieving this, both specific skills will be taught and positive attitudes to diversity of belief encouraged.
