FOOD SURVEY

Thank you to all those who completed the recent food survey; about 50% of school families have responded and given us some ‘food for thought’! The vast majority seem to be very satisfied with the food provided; only 2% are not happy. Pasta, chocolate brownies, chicken, carrots and wraps all scored particularly well, as did the Chinese stir fry on the recent Chinese New Year. Karen Taplin is always open to suggestions and is going to add soups to the tea menu, add Chinese stir fry to the main lunch menus and have a theme day each month: next term the children can expect a World Cup day as well as a special St. George’s Day menu. Two messages from the kitchens: parents – you are most welcome to come in for lunch to sample our fare; and to the children – if you have a particular request, please just ask the kitchen staff!
