Year 6 Geography topics: Easter 2013

Having spent the majority of last term looking at the questions “What is Geography and how do we study it?” the year also looked at weather and climate. During the Easter term we will conclude the weather topic and move on to rivers and especially flooding which is rather topical after super storm Sandy and the events in the UK.  The section will also include case studies on Bangladesh, linking in to the year 4 work and Sussex in 2000 although reference will be made to the more recent episodes. How can we protect areas in the future with the possible rises in sea levels being predicted?
