What busy bees we have been again in The Coach House Nursery. Miss Henké’s children have been learning to recognise rectangles and the colour orange. We have been exploring the patterns made by cutting oranges in half and printing. We also experimented in squeezing the juice from an orange and we found it very tangy and sour.
The upper Nursery have had a great week learning about fire-fighters and keeping ourselves safe. We learnt not to play with matches and to tell our parents that we must check our smoke alarms at home. The children were fortunate to have a fire engine come to the playground and we were even allowed to go inside and listen to the very loud siren.
Thank you to Crawley Fire Brigade for taking the time to talk to our Nursery.
