French Concert
The French Concert went beautifully … and was a wonderful start to French Day. All 240 children from Younger Nursery up to Year 4 sang, danced, wiggled and smiled as they sung a variety of French songs to a huge audience of proud parents. The progression of French through the school was plain to see when three Year 7 boys gave French presentations on their holidays and hobbies, and recited French poems by Victor Hugo and Louise Labé. The confidence, enjoyment and pride was obvious in all the children, and the concert ended with a whole Sports Hall rendition of Frère Jacques in the round!
