The children have returned to school very  happy and they were very pleased to see their friends. We have been talking about our New Year’s resolutions, many of which have included helping around the house, recycling more, tidying up and helping with the washing up. We look forward to hearing if the children have kept their promises over the next few weeks!

Thank you for sending in photos of your lovely homes. It allowed us to help the children to make better choices regarding house shape and colour shades. In due course their house paintings will adorn our classrooms!

In Maths we have been counting on and back 2 more and 2 less from larger numbers, especially crossing a tens number. Playing a ‘counting back’ game in the car would further help the children in this.
