Friends of Copthorne

Copthorne Prep has a wonderful community of parents who involve themselves with the school in a number of different ways. There are various committees which are always delighted to welcome new members, and individuals who like to help in specific ways where they have particular talents such as artists or costume makers for plays and dressing up days.

The Friends of Copthorne organise a variety social events for parents and children including the Winter Bazaar, Quiz Night and the School Fête.

They also organise our huge Summer Fête weekend in the middle of May, starting with the Quiz Night on the Friday night and then the Grand Fête itself on the Sunday. It is always great fun for all concerned, draws in hundreds of people from the local area and raises large sums of money for the school. In the past the Fête committee has provided money for new minibuses, showering facilities for the pool and is this year raising funds for a new Prep playground and climbing wall.
