Sponsored Events for Charity

One Friday in June the whole school dressed in ‘wrong’ trousers for the day… raising money for the Wallace & Gromit Children’s Foundation. This raises funds to improve the quality of life for children in hospitals and hospices throughout the UK. Wrong Trousers Day raised over £170 for this charity.

The Coach House Nursery held a big ‘toddle’ in aid of Barnado’s, raising nearly £700. The littlest children all walked at least a mile around the school’s fields, ending up with a well deserved picnic for themselves and their teddies (who had also completed the walk!)

The Chase charity (hospice care for children) was delighted to accept a cheque for over £4000 – money raised in the Spring Paper Chase event. Pictured with Mr Hastings from Chase are Min Chadd (Chair of the Social Committee), the 3 boys who completed the event in the fastest times, and 2 brothers from the Nursery & Pre-Prep who raised the most money – over £270 from just one family!
