Under 9 A’s Football Windlesham House Tournament

We travelled to the Windlesham House School on what turned out to be a very cold and wet miserable day. The pitches however were in pristine condition as we entered into a 4 way tournament. The first game we were blown off the park against a very strong Ardingly opposition. The final score being that of 6-0. Going into the second match we struggled throughout the first half against the host school however we rallied together to finish the game losing 3-2 in a tightly contested battle. Our 3rd and final game against Great Walstead was another match where we were blown off the park early but came back to only lose 4-0.

Overall we were clearly out played in all aspects of the game we can look forward to improving our skills in our up and coming games sessions. The Man of the Tournament award goes to Liban Abdulle who played very well in horrible conditions. Anyway, I know the boys can bounce back for our next match after half term. JG
