Colts ‘B’ XII v Brambletye Won 21-14

This was the best possible way to end the rugby season for the boys in the Colts ‘B’ squad and it was just disappointing that it wasn’t possible to get the whole squad involved in some way in this last fixture or for Mr. Fitt to be out of the Music Exams in time to see it. Two substitutes were quite enough to try to get on during the course of the game so apologies to anyone who missed out this week but remember you have all had your part to play during the course of the season.

Today’s game was hard fought and well contested by both sides. The team certainly needed to play to their strengths and they made good use of the forwards in numerous rucks and mauls throughout the game. Two well taken tries by Gianluca, who was playing in the Second Row, were testament to the hard work that the front five put in. The backs too had their part to play and their defence was strong and they played off the back of the attacking mauls with some skill. It was good to see Luca score a try from Full Back and to see Max to score all three conversions.

All in all a most successful afternoon and a great end to the season. Very well done boys.
