U11 VII Netball v St Christopher’s – Won 13-12

Wednesdays Netball match between the Copthorne under 11s and St Christopher’s, was a spectacular game. The seven girls; Isabella Monaghan, Jessica St John-Dennis, Katie Parkinson, Roselly Hamlett, Zara Everington, Rebecca Frost and Jessica Bright all worked extremely well as a team both in attack and defence. It was a slow first half with the Copthorne girls down 8-2. However the girls were too hard to be beaten in the second half, taking the court as strong as ever. The seven girls picked up their game in the second half with their unbeatable defence, and their accurate shooting by Zara and Jessica Bright.

The players of the match were Jessica St John-Dennis for her outstanding interceptions and Roselly for an all round great effort in centre position. However the whole team should be extremely proud of themselves, as it was an overall success winning the game 13-12. Well done Girls!  KL
