U9 VII Netball v St Christopher’s – Won 4-2

Copthorne got off to a slow and shaky start and were a bit all over the place and they seemed to have lost their usual fighting spirit!   In the first half of the game both teams had equal possession and Copthorne just didn’t seem to gel together.  However they managed to hold St Christopher’s off so at half time it was  1-1.

In the second half of the game Copthorne picked their game up and there was some improved passing and movement. The shooters tried hard despite having an added extra foot with their netball posts! In the end Copthorne proved to be the stronger side and beat St Christopher’s 4-2.  Well done today girls but let’s hope we get our Copthorne determination and fighting spirit back for next week!  TC
