4C love reading!!

I think that Year 4 love reading because the class readers are really enjoyable books.  To begin the year we read ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’.  We had lots of fun designing our own chocolate bars, mine was called ‘Scrunch-munch-eat-it-for-your-lunch’!  In the Spring term we read ‘Holes’.  It is a clever story because there are two stories mixed together.  We wrote our own books called ‘Camp Green Lake Survival Guide’.  This term, we are reading ‘Stig of the Dump’.  So far I think I’m going to enjoy it because I think the characters will go on an adventure. We also love listening to, and writing poetry.  We made a book of poems about ourselves inspired by Michael Rosen’s ‘Down behind the dustbin’.
