Chloe Redston reports on Charlie & the Chocolate Factory

Yesterday evening, Tuesday 16th March 2010, year 4 children in Copthorne Prep School performed Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to a huge audience. It started with a grand entrance by the narrators (Michaela Scott and Frederik Alexandru) explaining the story so far. My favourite scene was in the TV room when Mike Teavee turned into a small Barbie doll. All of the scenes were brilliant with great effects. All the children worked so hard.

Special thanks to Mrs. Wade for directing the children so professionally, Mr. Avery for the props, Mr Bone for the lighting, Miss Carter for helping to organise the children and doing the make up, Mrs lee and Miss Simmonds for doing the make up.
