Madeleine – more chess success!

Madeleine competed in the southern & eastern qualifiers of the 2012 National Girls’ Chess Championships in Richmond, Surrey, at the weekend finishing 2nd in the Under-10 category with 3/6. The 3 games Madeleine lost were all to Under-12 girls who all recently competed at the England Trials, and one of whom had successfully qualified to play for England! Madeleine has now qualified to compete in National Girls’ Chess Championships Finals in Birmingham. Well done to Madeleine!
