U11A Netball v Great Walstead – Lost 9-11

Copthorne won the first pass and were first to score and it looked for a moment that we were the stronger team. However, as the score shows we did not play at our best today. There were moments of good netball but we lacked the energy and skills that has made the team, until today, unbeaten. Our passing and catching at times was very sloppy and perhaps the girls began the match with slight complacency. The opposition was strong but no stronger than any of the teams we have played. They intercepted many of our passes because we did not find the space and allowed them to mark us.
By half time Great Walstead were ahead by one and despite a better final quarter the girls were unable to catch up.

So girls you need to look to next week, learn from today’s match and go to the IAPS ready to show why you are team that is hard to beat.
