A busy time!

19th June 2016

It has been an incredibly busy time at Copthorne recently, with Year 8 enjoying a wonderful time in France in 30 degree temperatures; Year 7 having a wild and wet week in Snowdonia; moving up day for children in Nursery to Year 3; competitive EYFS and Year 1 & 2 Sports Days with a delicious BBQ; County Athletic trials and a non-uniform day to help raise funds for ex-pupil Georgina G who is visiting Indonesia next year to undertake charity work. Next week we have ABRSM Music exams; the Year 5 “Murder Mystery” drama performances; staff cricket v Cottesmore; a Full Governors meeting; an autism assembly (Thursday 0825 – all parents welcome); a “Day in the Life” of Sir Peter Wood (Go Compare, Esure, Sheila’s Wheels etc.); the Year 7 & 8 Young Musician of the Year Competition; the Prefects Supper; the Friends of Copthorne “Race Night” and the
“It’s-a-Knockout Competition”.
