Television

A peom by Chloe Redston

Children stare for hours and hours watching TV,

Why don’t they go and play outside just like you and me?

They watch the TV getting fat, eating lots of bic’cies,

Sitting on their big behinds, looking at the pic’cies,

Outside the air is clean and fresh, inside it’s grey and dark,

They could always put their trainers on and run around the park,

The poem I’ve written here be sure to pay attention,

If you don’t you may just find you’re far to dead to listen.
