Information regarding the last few days of term

Dear Parents
I write to remind you of some important points as we approach the last few days of term.
Thursday 9 December
Year 1 and 2 Nativity Play – 9am in the Theatre.  Coffee will be served in the Rendall Room afterwards.
This is a non-uniform day, Christmas theme, with the £1 donation going to the Crawley Open House Charity.
Children will have Christmas lunch and then enjoy class parties including a visit to Father Christmas if they have been good! (The Nursery party is before lunch).
Back by popular demand will be the Secret Santa stall from the Winter Bazaar where children can purchase presents for parents at pocket money prices.  This will be in the New Library from 2:30pm, where Christmas decorations will also be on sale.
The Pre-Prep 3:30pm minibus will run as normal and the Prep School buses will run at 4:30pm arriving at their destinations an hour earlier, to give children time to eat, change into School uniform (including blazers), and get to St. Swithun’s Church in East Grinstead by 6:45pm.  Waiting House will finish at 5:20pm and there will be no tea served (unless your child is boarding).  All Year 3 – 8 children are expected to attend.  Children sit together in their Forms at the front of the Church with parents sitting towards the rear.    Reserved seats will be arranged for the Parents’ Choir.
Nursery to Year 2 children and parents are warmly invited to attend if they wish.
The retiring collection will again be given to the Crawley Open House Charity.
As the weather is likely to be subzero, we have cancelled the mulled wine and mince pies back at School afterwards so everyone can get home earlier.  Apologies to those who really enjoy this gathering.

Friday 10 December
Normal School buses into School BUT NO RETURN BUSES.
Term ends from 11:30am – 12:00pm but a staggered pick up is advisable.
