Year 8 Leavers Walk 2015

As part of the leavers programme all the pupils take part in a gruelling walk from Copthorne to Ditchling Beacon. The exact distance is unknown but it is certainly well in excess of 20 miles so no mean achievement. This year, for the first time, the children decided it would be a good idea to make it a charity event. For some very personal reasons they opted to raise money for cancer research. I am delighted to announce that, between the 21 members of Year 8 2015 they raised a grand total of £2507.70. I am sure that you will all agree this is a staggering amount and they all need to be commended for their efforts
