IMG_2275For Remembrance Day, we made special poppy wreaths using tissue paper, paint and paper plates. Then we joined the rest of the school for two minutes silence underneath the Chapel tower.

Pudsey Bear biscuits were baked on Thursday afternoon and decorated on Friday with icing and smarties to match our ‘spotty theme’. Thank you very much for all your kind donations to Children In Need.

Also this week, the younger children have painted some lovely rainbows to celebrate the end of their ‘colours’ topic. They have been reading the story ‘The Rainbow Fish’ and learnt that if you share you will have lots of lovely friends!

The older children have been mixing their own Autumn colours using powder paints to decorate some leaves. We now know that if you mix red, blue and yellow together you get brown!
