Getting ready for Christmas!

4th December 2017

This week Christmas activities have begun in earnest and the children in Pippins class have really enjoyed making Christmas trees, stars and cards! Did anyone notice any green toes at bath time? We had such fun painting our feet to make our ‘mistletoes’ cards!

Christmas has also arrived in Acorns class: we have been painting our hands to make Christmas tree cards, turning paper plates into gorgeous sparkly angels and singing and dancing to Christmas music already.

The children had a wonderful surprise when they arrived to see ‘Santa’s workshop’ in Acorns class, they have been busy designing, building, painting and wrapping toys as well as decorating our mini Christmas tree and dressing up as Santa complete with Santa hats and sacks.

Oaks have been busy rehearsing with Reception for their Nativity, ‘Follow the Star’. The children are very excited for next week when at last we can perform to our parents. The classroom has also been covered in glitter everyday whilst we create some wonderful Christmas decorations for the theatre and for the school fair.

Look out for the glittery angels in the grotto on Sunday!
