This week the children in Pippins class have been making some splendid crowns. They chose which colour and shape they wanted then covered them in glue sequins and shiny paper. We’ve been outside climbing on the sandy hill and pretending to be kings and queens of the castle!

In Acorns class the children have been making some smart Union Jack flags for a royal display. They also painted a King and a Queen and have been talking about family trees!

Oaks have been busy again this week with making a turret or tiara for ‘t’ and threading red, white and blue pasta to make a necklace for ‘n’. A small castle puzzle was also made by the children to support the ‘p’ letter.

Sun hats should be kept in the childrens’ trays as well as a named water bottle, which will be emptied and filled up by the teachers each day.
