Nursery News – Spring Term 2017 – Week 3

28th January 2017

The children in Pippins and Acorns class have been going on a Bear Hunt this week! They made 3D bears with different kinds of fur and felt and enjoyed spreading butter and honey onto bread to make some yummy teddy bear sandwiches. On Friday they went into the woods in search of some bears and pretended to splash and splosh through rivers and brave snowstorms and oozy mud!

The older children have been thinking about what kind of super powers they would have if they were super heroes. They have been searching for lost superheroes in the woods and made some dot to dot superhero pictures. Mrs Powley is very proud of those children who have been saying goodbye to their Mummies at Kiss and Drop each morning. Well done also to the parents who are encouraging this grown up independence in readiness for big school in September!
