Red, Red, Red and Caterpillars!

14th September 2018

This week in Pippins we have been painting, gluing, collaging and colouring everything red! Next week we will be learning all about the colour blue and are excited about making some blue whales and water play.

Acorns class have had a wonderful time playing with our new garden toys: we are lucky enough to have a new climbing frame, caterpillar tunnel and a little rollercoaster. We have been painting pictures of ourselves on to paper plates and talking about what we like to do at home, we have also got very messy body painting!

Oaks class have started their topic on ‘Houses’. They have enjoyed drawing the people (& pets!) who live in their homes. The outdoor role play area has been turned into an Estate Agent so do come along if you are looking to move house, the children will help you find what you are looking for!

The Nursery children love the new caterpillar in their garden!  Both Mrs Swadling & Mrs Lumley remember the Nursery from 20 years ago when there was a real grass garden with 1 big toy: a caterpillar!  History is repeating itself ….
