This week in Pippins class we have been making some very special presents for our daddies. All of the children enjoyed painting and colouring and baking in preparation for Father’s Day this week and we wish all of our Daddies a very happy and enjoyable day!
Acorns class have been carrying on with our summer theme despite the weather! We have created some stripy bumblebees and had fun decorating buckets and spades using sand. We have also been busy creating a special something for our Daddies so keep an eye out in our book bags.
There has been great excitement in Oaks with butterflies emerging! The children were very concerned to get their care right so we gave them sugared water and little pieces of fruit in their net. They have now been freed into the woods to find their own food and enjoy their freedom!
At Francis Court the children and residents decorated some lovely chicks to link with the ‘ch’ sound. Lots of sequins were used to help ‘bling’ the chicks up a little!
The children all had a wonderful time on Thursday in their new classes. They felt very grown up eating their lunch in the dining hall and were very excited telling us all about their new classrooms and teachers, so much so that they were a little disappointed to come back to Nursery in the afternoon!
