Pippins class have been talking about wild animals this week. We made some lovely lions using material and hand prints and then decorated elephants using newspaper collage. We have had lots of fun pretending to be different animals by making animals noises and moving in different ways.

This week Acorns class have been reading The Gruffalo; we have sponge painted some baby Gruffalos with moving arms and legs. We have made some delicious Gruffalo crumble and Mrs J has drawn beautiful animals from the story that the children have been decorating for the display board.

Oaks have started their ‘Superhero’ theme and have powder mixed some pictures of their favourite hero. A small group of Oaks class went to Francis Court in Copthorne for the first of 6 visits this term. The children and residents enjoyed making some play dough superheroes and Lego buildings!
