Yellow Crazy this Week!

The whole Nursery has  gone yellow crazy this  week! The older children have been learning the rhyme ‘5 little ducks’ and have made some sweet little yellow feathery duck puppets, a bright display and some sponge printed ducks in a blue pond.
We have been busy counting up to and backwards from five and have decided that it’s quite tricky to hide little fingers one at a time! We have also used the rhyme as a useful opportunity to talk about the importance of staying close to our Mummies when we are out and about. The younger children have made some sparkly yellow stars which are proudly displayed. They have been putting them in size order, using some good describing words. They also made some delicious star biscuits which were covered in yellow icing which proved too tempting for some! Please could you practise singing ‘Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star’ at home as Miss Henké is worried that hers will be the only voice heard at the nativity play this year!
