Copthorne Prep is a flourishing independent day and boarding school with approximately 350 boys and girls from the ages of 2 to 13. Set in 55 acres of West Sussex/Surrey countryside, including its own woodland, the school is located between Crawley and East Grinstead, seven miles from Gatwick Airport.
‘Children are unique and every child deserves a school that is dedicated to
developing individual abilities and confidence.’
This is the ethos that informs everything we do at Copthorne Prep; we believe in offering our boys and girls the very best all round education, together with a stimulating range of sports and activities. This approach gives every one of our children the freedom to learn and grow within a safe nurturing environment, and we aim to build and maintain a close partnership between children, teachers and parents. Our commitment to providing exceptional pastoral care is also reflected in the strong sense of community that children enjoy at the school, coupled with a culture that encourages trust, tolerance and achievement.
We are looking for a Marketing Manager whose role within Copthorne Prep School will be vital when promoting the school within the South East. This person will have creative flair, enjoy an extremely varied, challenging and hands-on role and be the brand guardian to continue strengthening our market position.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the Copthorne Prep School marketing strategy which is crucial to supporting the school’s image and reputation within the local market. Central to the role is the ability to understand the needs of current and prospective parents, and to identify strategies and initiatives which enable Copthorne Prep to meet these needs in the short and long term.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and organised Junior Matron to assist with day to day tasks such as laundry, lunchtime supervision and match teas. Candidates will need to achieve high standards and work with our Senior Matron.
School Shop Manager
We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and professional School Shop Manager. The School Shop is a part of our school community and will often be one of the first departments that new parents engage with and so exceptional customer service is vital. Due to the nature of this position, the core hours may be variable in order to ensure that we are fully meeting the needs of the school shop user. To this end a degree of flexibility will be required in terms of actual hours worked, particularly during the higher demand periods of school uniform sales – typically around Easter and the Summer holidays.
We reserve the right to withdraw these vacancies at any time ahead of the closing date if there is a good level of response. We recommend you submit your application as early as possible.
