Different ways to travel

5th February 2016

This week in Reception we have been looking at ways to travel through the air: hot air balloons, aeroplanes, helicopters … and which other countries we could visit if we travelled by plane.

Our favourite story this week was ‘Puddle and Toot’. Toot just loves to travel, writing postcards from all over the world, while Puddle stayed at home. We wrote some lovely postcards to Puddle pretending we were travelling around the world.

In maths it has been all about 3D shapes and measuring. We measured dinosaur prints are and weighed various objects in the classrooms … Mrs Jenkins didn’t quite fit on the scales!

Virtual Open Day

Another Virtual Open Day!

Our next Virtual Open Day will take place on Saturday 3 October where we will share a link to an exclusive Open Morning page. The page will contain more information about our school and videos showing ‘A day in the Nursery/Pre-Prep/Prep School’.

Should you wish to speak to the Headmaster & Head of Pre-Prep in person, you are also invited for a 1:1 (socially distanced) chat at your convenience.

To book an appointment, or to register your place for the Virtual Open Day, please email our Registrar, Kathryn Billingham-West on
