‘Slither and Slide’

6th October 2018

This week we have been busy making snake sock puppets for our ‘Slither and Slide’ theme. The children used the glue spreaders to stick on eyes and hair, showing great precision and care when doing so. In maths, lots of comparative language was used when building walls and houses using duplo and blocks. Miss Heasman has been preparing the children for the Swimathon and said that the children are all making progress and enjoying their swimming lessons. We had another treat in Forest School this week and ate some sizzling sausages as part of our slither and slide meat eating topic! Thank for sitting down with your child as they complete their homework. It is very important that the children say the rhyme as they hand write each letter so that formation is correct.
