Students with headteacher

16th November 2020

We have had a very busy two weeks and have done lots of practical learning. In Maths we have learned all about patterns and continued our learning in Forest School, making leaf patterns whilst also working on the all important fine motor skills. Focus moved to finding one more (sometimes 2 more) of any number this week. We used a variety of apparatus like the Numicon to help us understand and to check our answers. In IT we have been working on our mouse control and made fantastic firework pictures on the computer to celebrate bonfire night. We have also started our Nativity rehearsals and the children can’t wait to show their parents what excellent actors they can be.

We are expanding to GCSE!

Parents have told us they need a quality senior school alternative, so from September 2021, pupils already at Copthorne or joining in Year 7 will be able to stay with us to Year 11. Our first GCSE exams will take place in 2026.

Join us at our next Virtual Open Morning or read about our expansion to find out more.
