Back to Business

After the successful trip to the 2011 NSEA National Championships at Addington in October, it was back to business for Copthorne Show jumping.
With Sophie Millers departure to Cranleigh, Amber Flaven has stepped up to be the new fourth member of the team (Congratulations to Amber) alongside regulars Roselly, Georgia and Harriet.

The 2011/2012 show jumping season opened indoors at Golden Cross with Copthorne Competing in the 2ft 3″ Show jumping. The team and ponies performed well finishing fourth out of 22 teams. Georgia was the leading Copthorne rider being placed 4th out of 87 riders in the Individual.

In February, the team travelled to Sparsholt College in Hampshire hoping to secure a place at the 2012 Nationals. The competition was tough with only the top two teams being placed to qualify. Copthorne rode brilliantly coming second out of 20 teams, securing them a place at the Championships. Georgia also rode one of her personal individual bests coming 5th out of 98.
