This week the girls found themselves on the netball court for their fixture against Cottesmore. Although it has mainly been their hockey Term, it gave them a good idea of what to expect for their netball season. Cottesmore were by far the better side on the court. They seemed to have played together before as they timed their moves and passes really well and converted most of their chances inside the D. Copthorne took each quarter at a time, working on improving at least one skill at a time. They girls had some good passages of play and entered the D on numerous occasion. One could tell the girls were not yet into their stride as they could not find there shooting rhythm. During the final quarter They just about found some consistency, passing and finding players in space and even limited the oppositions time in the D. The girls ended positive and always W courage each other throughout the afternoon.

Much to work on next Term. Well done to Isabel Seager for being voted player of the match.

Team. Lila, Jemima, Mallory, Ruby, Isabel, Grace, Alana and Emily.
