The girls trained well during the week, eager to correct and learn from mistakes from their match last week, also playing indoors was a big help as the girls could really go for it.

Although the score was 13-18 to St Christopher’s, it was a close game! Isabel was player of the match as she found herself in the thick of the action, always attacking and straight back on the defence when possession was lost. Throughout the game both teams took advantage from their centre passes to get the ball quickly to the shooters. Regina and Alana had much more chances compared to their previous game and shot very well. The defenders, Mallory, Jemima and Lila all got some fantastic interceptions and linked well with Abigail and Isabel in C and WA. The home side slightly edged out in front in the final quarter as Copthorne lacked the concentration on the little things, giving away cheap possession. It was a good match and overall a much improved performance from the team.
