Students with headteacher

2nd IX Football v Christ’s Hospital

6th November 2015

Our first ever meeting with CH so nothing to go on relating to strengths and/or weaknesses.

The game started really well with Copthorne well on top and playing some really good football. The midfield trio of Josh, Luke and Keiron were controlling the game and the only thing lacking was the final shot and that, unfortunately, was the story of the match. In the end we lost heavily but played all the football. Our only effort to test the keeper was a free kick from Nick which was comfortably claimed. Currently the boys want to take that extra touch to make sure in front of goal however that time taken means the chance has gone. Two tough games to come but the formula will not change – no shots results in no goals. Come on boys have a gamble and let fly. JC
