2nd IX Football v St. Christopher’s

9th November 2016

By some distance the best side we have encountered this season and the opposition quickly established their superiority. We ran, chased, tackled and often simply got in the way but we were, for the first time this season outclassed by a better side which does happen in sport. It certainly did not help that our ranks were depleted due to circumstances beyond our control but I have to say I was very impressed by the way the boys kept going despite the mountainous score line. Unlucky but sport can be cruel some days. We have another crack at the opposition in 2 weeks time with a slightly different shaped ball so maybe we can exact some revenge then. Well battled and well done for keeping going.
