The first innings of the match didn’t get off to a good start for Copthorne. The girls struggled in the field, the basics letting them down allowing the big hitters from Brambletye to score freely. The girls remained upbeat going into bat and whilst making contact were unable to score the necessary rounders. The second innings saw a positive improvement. Although not coming near the end target, Copthorne realised some of their errors and learnt from them, making them play to a much better standard. Despite the loss the girls remained in good spirits and highlighted some of the areas to work on for their next match.

Well done to Kate and Jemima for being voted players of the match.
