On Wednesday the girls headed off to Great Walstead, for their last game this term. The second team played superbly well, given that a few players were absent and ill this week. Simi came along as the new goal keeper and was awarded man of the match for saving a total of 8 shots on goal throughout the first and second half.
The first half was quite challenging for the girls as Great Walstead were constantly on the attack. There was great defending from both Mallory and Tanishka. Grace was also a great contribution to the forwards and carried the ball up on two break aways. The second half of the match was much better as Copthorne retained possession of the ball for most of the time with Hannah scoring a goal. Well done girls!
