The boys were rightly disappointed with their final position in the tournament as the way that we played was not reflected in the score lines. Too often we dominated the game but were unable to find the back of the net, only to watch the opposition score from their only chance of the match. I was generally pleased with the way that we played. Much of the work that we have done during coaching sessions during the term was evident on the pitch and watching the boys incorporate this into their play was very rewarding as a coach. Finishing has been an issue and one that we will be concentrating on in the coming sessions. The boys must learn that it is the team that gains the result and if someone is in a better position to score than you, then you need to pass. Well tried boys, you improved with every game and remember, 7 of the 9 that we took can take part again next year.
