There are times when you have to simply hold your hands up and say that you were beaten by a better team. I have been coaching Colts A cricket for 6 years and I find it almost impossible to remember a better team and performance that one I witnessed today. GW scored 178 for 4 in 20 overs, these scores suggest that we bowled badly but this was far from the case. We produced our best bowling display of the season conceding the least amount of extras this season but their batsman simply hit anything that was slightly off line. Louis picked up 3 wick-ets with his leg spin bowling and caused plenty of prob-lems including one Shane Warne delivery that bowled the batsman around his legs, Jacob picked up our other wick-et. We held to good catches from Ali out in the deep and a juggling effort from Luca. A target of 179 to win is a very tough target and so this proved after tea as GW took wickets at regular intervals to win with plenty to spare. I was very pleased with all the boys commitment and atti-tude they never let their heads drop and even took time at the end of the match to go and shake the hands of the GW parents who also appreciated the commitment we had shown.  IP
