Colts ‘B’ Football v Brambletye

16th September 2016

Goals: Luke-3, Wesley-1 and Jake-1

The Colts B’s went up against Brambletye this week in a nail biting match that resulted in a 5 all draw. The boys had a slow start but soon gained the upper hand and scored a few quick goals. All players worked well as a team in both attack and defence. Our opponents then hit back however, we were able to finish the first half in front (3-2). We started the second half off quite strong but the warm weather took its toll on the team and we became less willing to chase after the ball in defence. This then saw Brambletye levelling the score to 5 goals apiece within the last few minutes of the game. Both teams then lifted their intensity to try and sneak in one last goal but the defending on both sides was too strong and the score remained the same (5-5). Well done to all the boys that played however special mention must go to Luke for scoring 3 goals and to Wesley and Kochi for defending exceptionally well.
