Colts B Football v Cumnor House

20th November 2015

Lost 0-6

This was a disappointing result for the Bs after they worked so hard and played so well against St Christopher’s last week. They actually did very well in the first half, and worked their socks off in what was a very close 20 minutes which finished with Cumnor only 1-0 up. Louis was playing very well on the left wing, getting up and down the field nicely. Charlie was providing good cover for the defence, and playing well going forward too, and Sam was always a threat with his pace up front. He nearly scored on several occasions but today was not our day. The second half was a disaster for us, as we played into what seemed at times to be a bit of a gale, and we spent most of the half defending.

Antony showed great character and determination in his defending, even when we fell further behind, but the mud, wind and some good opponents got the better of us and the second half ended up being a one sided affair which was a disappointing way to end the season for a side that has played some nice football at times.

Good luck as you move on to rugby boys! DJ
