Colts ‘B’ Football v Lancing College Prep

5th October 2016

The Colts B’s played in a close and entertaining match today and were a little unlucky to end on the losing side. We conceded an early goal due to poor marking, but started to gain confidence as we passed the ball around nicely and started to create chances. Wesley and Nicholas put in a lot of good tackles and we needed more of this from the whole of the team to be truly dominant. We still managed to threaten in attack, and equalised after some nice passing which was finished off by a good strike from Ben. Essam looked good in attack dribbling down the left wing, and Antony stayed nice and composed in his passing. We should have scored at least two more goals, but did not finish off the many chances that came our way and Lancing were more clinical when they attacked, scoring twice more in the second half to take the game. If we take our chances and defend a little better we should be winning these kind of games in future.
